Welcome to Off-Grid Plan-B — a free newsletter for those rethinking how and where they live.
This is about creating a life of independence, intention, and modern comfort… without the strings of a broken system.
This isn’t about living in a yurt, growing turnips, or dropping off the map.
I launched this newsletter to share a new vision of off-grid living. One that’s connected, intentional, and built for freedom-minded families who want clean water, secure land, aligned neighbours… and a government that isn’t involved in every decision.
It’s not off-grid to escape. It's off-grid to upgrade.
You’ll get insights straight from the ground, curated by me and my team based on personal experience, years of due diligence, and my own investments (including a stake in a publicly traded company doing exactly this across Latin America).
If you’re ready to take control of your life and step into a better way of living…
This is where it starts.
Welcome to Off-Grid Plan-B - a newsletter I’ve been wanting to launch for a long time, and one I think is going to fundamentally reshape how you think about self-reliance, modern living, and what it really means to be free.
For far too long, the term “off-grid” has been monopolized by the barefoot, back-to-the-land types.
Say the words out loud, and most people instantly imagine communal housing, unreliable power, and a total disconnect from the world as we know it.
But if you know me, you know that’s not my style.
I like my modern comforts.
I’m not trying to escape the world… I’m just trying to opt out of the broken parts.
And I know I’m not alone.
It wasn’t long time ago that I crossed paths with a man who would become not just a trusted partner, but a close personal friend and the godfather to my children.
He introduced me to something that completely reframed how I saw off-grid living; not as a retreat, but as an upgrade.
He showed me what it looks like to live off-grid with intention.
To live in a community, not a commune.
To have space, sovereignty, and independence without sacrificing comfort, quality, or connection.
Not off-grid like dropping out of society, but off-grid like removing yourself from the systems that no longer serve you.
Off-grid, like creating a life where your water is yours, your food is local, your neighbours are aligned, and the government isn’t sitting in the middle of every decision you make.
To me, off-grid living is about reclaiming control over how you live, where you live, and what systems you choose to be a part of.
It’s about designing your life intentionally, not just accepting whatever comes down the pipe in the country you happened to be born in.
That idea stuck with me. And I’ve been all in ever since.
This newsletter is my way of pulling back the curtain and showing you what’s possible when you begin to view off-grid living as I do.
My goal is to introduce you to the places, the people, and the projects that are quietly reimagining how and where we live, so more and more of us can begin to see off-grid living for what it really is.
Off-grid doesn’t mean disconnected…
…In fact, if you do it right, you’ll be more connected than ever before.
I’m thrilled to have you with us, and I can’t wait to introduce you to a new way of living.
